Camden Spiller, CEO / Co-Founder
Camden is passionate about investing in the people and processes that build a great organization. His commitment to building high-performing team, developing a positive company culture, and maintaining organizational focus ("doing what we do best"), led to the founding of Maddox Industrial Transformer in 2015.
Camden began his career in the electrical equipment industry in the late 1990’s. During his 17-year tenure at Sunbelt Transformer, he held a number of positions in systems, sales, and executive management.
He attended Missouri State University and completed the acclaimed Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School. Camden has served on the Board of Directors of various community, civic, and business organizations.
Camden, with his wife Sarah, are raising six children, are very involved with their local church, enjoy spending time with friends and family, and are interested and engaged in supporting local sustainable agriculture in the Pacific Northwest. They reside between Greenville, South Carolina, and the family farm outside Portland, Oregon.
Heath Blundell, Operations Director / Co-Founder
Mr. Blundell started in new transformer manufacturing with Sunbelt Transformer in 1997. Over the next 18 years he held operational and leadership positions in new manufacturing, repair, field service and sales, including the role of National Operations Manager overseeing the full operation of five full-scope transformer repair and reconditioning facilities. He went on to work with Solomon Corporation before joining the founding team of MIT.
He is passionate about coaching and mentoring shop personnel, and is particularly focused on safety and environmental processes, which is one of the many ways that Heath takes great care and concern for those around him.
Heath and his wife, Kristin are proud parents of two amazing young women, both women in college and reaching for their dreams. They reside in Greenville, South Carolina and enjoy spending time with their family and friends.
Randall Paul Maddox, Founder
Mr. Maddox dedicated more than 30 years to the employees, customers and vendors of Sunbelt Transformer; the company he founded in 1981. Seeing the opportunity to unite his experience and expertise with the underserved needs of customers, vendors and employees in the industry, Mr. Maddox became the catalyst and mentor to the team that would become MIT.
Prior to his 34-year tenure at Sunbelt Transformer, Mr. Maddox served as Vice President of Sales for Arbuckle Electrical Machinery, Houston, Texas. Mr. Maddox has actively served as a leader in a number of community organizations, including director of the Temple Chamber of Commerce, and director of the Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple, TX).
Mr. Maddox attended Lamar University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1979. He also completed the acclaimed Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at the Harvard Business School in 1996. Mr. Maddox, and his wife Christina, reside in Greenville, South Carolina and Tucson, Arizona where they are both active in competitive cycling and in coaching high-performing individuals in life, business, and athletics.
